TOKYO -- Contact lens prices are rising in Japan, and the war in Ukraine is partly to blame.
In Tokyo, the average retail price of a box of 90 soft contact lenses stood at 10,054 yen ($76) in February, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, up 10% from five years earlier.
