BANGKOK -- Siam Cement Group plans to begin testing new technology next year to capture carbon dioxide from one of its facilities and convert it to methane fuel, in its latest effort to cut greenhouse gas emissions.
Thailand's largest building materials company will work with Japanese partner Nippon Steel Engineering, which will build carbon capture facilities at an SCG cement factory in Saraburi province.
