Indonesia's Jokowi offers to broker peace in meeting with Zelenskyy

JAKARTA -- Indonesian President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo met Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv on Wednesday, offering to play a role as a peace broker between the Ukrainian leader and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Widodo arrived in the Ukrainian capital in the morning and was received by Zelenskyy at Mariinsky Palace in the afternoon. He headed back to Poland shortly after the meeting, and was expected to depart Thursday for Moscow, where he is slated to meet Putin.
