Thailand's government faces a continuing protest campaign that last year brought thousands of people, mostly young, out on the streets to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha and his cabinet, constitutional changes drafted with proper public consultation, and reform of the monarchy under the constitution.
