TOKYO -- Honda Motor and Nissan Motor will both scale down production volume this month as supply chain issues persist at home and abroad.

Output at domestic Honda assembly plants will shrink by about 10% from planned levels, the automaker revealed Thursday. That would equate to an output of roughly 60,000 vehicles for the month.
