Cambodia accepts 1m doses of China's Sinopharm vaccine

Hun Sen says decision contradicts vow to only take WHO-approved shots

PHNOM PENH -- Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said he has accepted a donation of one million Sinopharm vaccine doses from China.

The announcement made on his Facebook account on Friday night contradicts a previous pledge by the Cambodian leader to only use treatments approved by the World Health Organization.
