DENPASAR, Indonesia -- Surging Chinese interest in Bali could help save Indonesia's most lucrative tourist markets next year as coronavirus lockdowns prevent other travelers from getting to the island.
The Bali Tourism Board, an association of tourism operators on the island, expects a record-breaking 2 million Chinese tourists to visit Bali next year, far surpassing visitors from any other nation.
