FUKUOKA, Japan -- A used-clothing shop that opened in a residential neighborhood of the Japanese city of Fukuoka late last year is a lot more than it seems.
The 600-sq.-meter shop has 16,000 items, mostly kids garments but also maternity wear, cribs and baby carts. Unlike conventional secondhand shops, where the clothing can be haphazardly or tightly arranged, Post & Post neatly displays its garments on racks put together with handsome wooden slats. The racks are spaced well apart from one another, giving the store a relaxed ambiance.
