TOKYO -- NTT Docomo and China Mobile have developed a new embedded SIM system, or eSIM, that streamlines the process of switching telecom carriers for devices moving between Japan and China.
The Japanese mobile carrier aims to use the system for industrial and agricultural machinery amid rising adoption of technologies linked to the "internet of things."
