TOKYO -- Operating profit at major system developer NS Solutions likely grew 5% on the year to just shy of 15 billion yen ($130 million) in the April-December period, thanks to booming information technology investment by manufacturers and growing demand for cloud services.
The profit would be a record for the nine-month period. Sales likely rose 2% to around 160 billion yen. Many automakers and electronics companies increased spending on system updates to make development and production more efficient.
