Beauty care company Ya-Man's profit likely hit Q1 record

Sales grew for facial care, body-slimming devices

TOKYO -- Personal care equipment maker Ya-Man's operating profit appears to have hit a record high for the May-July quarter, as foreign tourists in Japan snapped up skin care and body-slimming devices.

The Japanese company is expected to report a 10% increase to more than 1.2 billion yen ($10.8 million) in the quarter.
