TOKYO -- Kenko Mayonnaise is on track to generate a roughly 2.3 billion yen ($22.4 million) operating profit in the April-September half, up 26% on the year thanks to brisk sales to McDonald's Holdings Japan.
This far exceeds the projected 1.8 billion yen, down slightly on the year. Sales are seen climbing 7% to around 35.5 billion yen, also more than the expected 6% rise.
