TOKYO -- Sumitomo Chemical will begin Indian production of polypropylene compound for makers of home appliances and autoparts.
Starting later this year, the Japanese company will churn out the material for supply to local operations of European appliance manufacturers. It will also seek orders among automakers and autoparts makers with Indian operations.
