MUMBAI (NewsRise) -- Indonesia's ride-hailing service Go-Jek has agreed to buy Indian startup Pianta for an undisclosed amount to spruce up its engineering team, as companies rush to acquire information technology talent from the south Asian country.

This is Go-Jek's third acquisition in India after buying two engineering services firms -- Bangalore-based C42 Engineering and New Delhi-based CodeIgnition - last year. In the past, U.S. companies such as Facebook and Twitter have bought little known Indian startups to strengthen their technology teams.
