TOKYO -- Autoparts supplier Aisin Seiki favors joining an electric vehicle joint venture launched by Japanese compatriots including Toyota Motor and Mazda Motor, the company said Wednesday.
Aisin Seiki, a Toyota group member, aims to "participate eventually," Executive Vice President Naofumi Fujie said that day at a technological briefing.
