Deadly disinfectant scandal rocks South Korea

Victims of the toxic disinfectants speak to reporters on Friday.

SEOUL -- Victims of deadly humidifier disinfectants and their families have sued the South Korean government and 22 companies for their failure to ensure the products' safety, as anger mounts over the government's response to what has been dubbed the "second Sewol disaster."

Over 1,800 people were affected by the toxic sterilizers, 266 of whom died as a result, according to a group representing victims.
